Tips on how to Make Travelling Less Stressful

Travelling, whether alone or with your friends or family, can be a stressful. From deciding on a destination to visit, booking your tickets, ensuring you haven’t forgotten anything before you go, and then having to conquer passport control and the security check at the airport, all before you can finally get on the plane.

In this article we look at three ways you can make travelling a more enjoyable and stress-free experience for all:

Plan in Advance
If you have already decided that you want to spend your next vacation in Morocco, great! If not, put together a list of possible countries you would like to visit and talk through them with those you are travelling with. Once you have made a decision you can book your flights in advance ensuring you get a good deal and that there are enough seats available for you and your family to sit together.

Get to the Airport Early and Check-in Online
Getting to the airport in plenty time is vital, so ensure you leave your house early in case you encounter a traffic jam or accident that could set you back. Arriving three to four hours before your flight (for those travelling internationally) will make sure you have enough time to hand in your bags, make it through the security check and boarder control gates and get your boarding gate with time to spare and little to no stress.

Pack Strategically

When it comes to packing your suitcase, try to pack in advance and as strategically as possible. Start by making a packing list including the items you need to take and the items you want to take. Once you have done that, you can start packing what you need first and then add any ‘luxuries’ that will fit in the left over space. By doing this you won’t forget the basics and will have enough room for everything you need. Although, you should remember if you want to do a little shopping while you are away, it’s advisable to leave a little room in order to take your new goodies home without your suitcase being over the weight limit.
